TOPIC SURVEY FOR DSTNCMP²⁶

November 10, 2025

WHAT ARE TOURISM PROFESSIONALS STRUGGLING WITH? WHAT IS ON THEIR MINDS?

While still some time away, the 16th DestinationCamp from May 5 – 7, 2026, in Brixen, South Tyrol, requires thorough preparation. More than 270 innovators from tourism organizations and services, experts from academia, agencies and OTAs, consultants, and system providers are seeking answers to current tourism challenges in the DACH region.

But what are the most pressing issues for tourism professionals? Are they overtourism and crowd tourism, the guiding principles of an experience economy, the revitalization of city centers, or the opportunities and limitations of AI?

Following the successful DSTNCMP²⁵ in Düsseldorf, the organizing netzvitamine GmbH has already received numerous topic suggestions. However, as is customary for the "industry's space for thought," all interested parties should have the opportunity to propose topics that are of particular interest to them, including those who cannot attend in Brixen themselves in May.

In cooperation with the MCI Innsbruck Management Center and Projekt D, an online survey open to everyone is once again available for this purpose. By December 15, 2025, participants are asked to vote for up to three favorites from ten thematic areas and, if possible, also suggest their own questions.

We anticipate high participation again, even though the online survey can only be open until mid-December. Therefore, it is all the more important that everyone interested in tourism participates in the short survey as soon as possible.
Benjamin Buhl, Managing Director of the organizing netzvitamine GmbH

The topic survey, with a maximum of six questions, can be completed anonymously online by all interested parties:
