WHAT VALUES DOES THE DSTNCMP STAND FOR?

At DSTNCMP, we embrace democratic values, openness to the world, and cooperation among equals. We take a clear and unequivocal stand against discrimination of any kind.

Native language, religion, sexual orientation, and background do not play a role for us or in participation. However, we do not welcome people with radical political views who challenge our democratic principles and the rule of law.

In accordance with our Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to exclude from the event anyone who questions these values and principles.

IS THE EVENT Accessible?

We strive to ensure the greatest possible accessibility at all our venues. Depending on the architectural conditions, minor compromises are sometimes necessary; however, these do not affect either the content or the quality of the experience.

We're always happy to discuss any special requirements with you in person and work together to find suitable solutions. Please contact us at info@destinationcamp.com.

OVERVIEW: ACCESSIBLE DSTNCMP

CAN I BRING MY CHILD(REN)?

The DSTNCMPstands for openness, collaboration, and the idea of “just giving it a try.” With that in mind, it goes without saying that children are welcome to come along and participate in the sessions—at no additional cost (up to and including age 15).

All participants are free to spend their afternoons as they wish: whether attending optional additional sessions, using the time to work, participating in one ofthe DSTNCMP experiences, taking a break, or spending time with family. This means that children are also welcome to join in on the respective activities (if space is limited, please register them as separate participants).

Why does everyone address me informally?

At DSTNCMP, all participants are on a first-name basis. This has been part of the event’s DNA since 2011 and has proven its worth: it fosters a workshop atmosphere and a culture of collaboration, makes conversations more relaxed, and ensures that even “newbies” can interact with the “old hands” as equals right from the start.

This rule applies to allDSTNCMP days. You decide for yourself what happens next.

DO I HAVE TO REGISTER FOR THE SESSIONS?

The morning sessions at Neustift Abbey do not require registration—it’s first come, first served. Reservations are not possible— if a room is full (❌), simply choose another session that still has available seats (✅). You can see the real-time status of room occupancy in the topic overview.

For the afternoon program, reservations for the limited number of seats are required via the DSTNCMPapp . Participation in the workshops and guided tours is, of course, included in the DSTNCMPticket .

No registration is required for the Water Light Festival. TheDSTNCMP wristband, which you’ll receive during accreditation, grants you free admission to all events.

Who decides on the topics?

At the beginning of each year, our research partner MCI, in cooperation with Projekt D, analyzes the results of the topic survey in order to take the desired topics, questions, and ideas into account as comprehensively as possible and to group them in a meaningful way.

You'll find the results starting in mid-Q1 in our topic table.
