OUR CONTRIBUTION TO GREATER SUSTAINABILITY
Meetings in the analog world are always associated with particular environmental burdens, especially when they are events with hundreds of participants. netzvitamine GmbH – as the initiator and organizer of DestinationCamp – works annually to keep the emissions and resource consumption from this major event as low as possible.
The DSTNCMP has been climate and water neutral since 2013 – through annually calculated and offset emissions by Klimapatenschaft GmbH.
Since 2025, the DSTNCMP has also been an essential component of netzvitamine's Common Good Balance Sheet and the voluntary Sustainability Report according to the European VSME standard. Against this background, we offer GWÖ-balanced companies a 15% discount on all tickets.

OUR CONTRIBUTION TO AN ETHICAL BUSINESS CULTURE
Since July 2025, netzvitamine GmbH has been an evaluated company of the ECOnGOOD community. And since November 2025, it has provided voluntary sustainability reporting according to the European VSME standard.
With the certified Common Good Balance Sheet and the VSME report, we explicitly commit to the economic model of the Common Good Economy (GWÖ). This means: We align our economic activities with what serves the common good – socially, ecologically, economically, democratically, and in solidarity.
The DSTNCMP also reflects this commitment. We not only want to talk about the future but also to work sustainably – in the spirit of a holistic understanding of sustainability that goes far beyond CO₂ compensation and recycling bins.
In the annual planning and implementation of the event, we therefore focus on fair structures, economical resource use, sensible mobility solutions, regional value creation, and respectful cooperation with partners and participants.
We understand the common good orientation as a process: We remain open to learning, transparent, and receptive to new ideas.
The focus on GWÖ has already been evident in a variety of measures at DestinationCamp over the past two years.
Consequently, the focus at DSTNCMP²⁶ is on:
- social components for participants and crew
- procurement of fairly produced materials
- selection of partners and locations with stricter criteria
- promotion of eco-friendly travel
- many vegetarian and vegan dishes
- predominantly water as the conference beverage
The preparation of a common good balance sheet follows a clearly defined process.
The starting point is a self-assessment based on the Common Good Matrix, supported by an analysis of internal processes, documents, and practical examples. This results in a Common Good Report with concrete measures and reflections on strengths and development potential.
The results are then verified and certified within the framework of a peer evaluation or by an external auditor.
In its first assessment, netzvitamine GmbH achieved 457 out of 1,000 possible points and thus the "EXPERIENCED" certificate.
As a logical next step, in November 2025, we aligned the GWÖ balance sheet with the European standard and additionally prepared our sustainability report according to the VSME standard.
This first common good balance sheet impressively documents netzvitamine's successful activities. They bring the concept of holistic sustainability to the tourism industry. With DestinationCamp, netzvitamine reaches many stakeholders from all sectors.
Excerpts from our Sustainability Efforts
The DSTNCMP²³ in Kufsteinerland was certified on May 9, 2023, as the first major event in Tyrol, according to the guidelines of the Austrian Ecolabel for Green Meetings & Green Events.
The DSTNCMP²⁴ in Bregenz was also organized according to the criteria of the Austrian Ecolabel for Green Events.
We support participants in choosing sustainably oriented accommodation and the most environmentally friendly forms of travel possible.
In cooperation with our partners, we produce all printed materials, print media, and textiles for the DSTNCMP CO₂-neutral.
For catering, we aim to reduce food waste through targeted planning and to focus on sustainable catering options with a large vegetarian selection.
