In the morning, the sessions and workshops were shaped by a desire for change, creativity, the right mindset, collaboration, and effectiveness. In the afternoon, participants visited leading industrial companies, luxury hotels, agriculture, and the Brenner Base Tunnel. The evening concluded with celebrations under the leafy canopy of Brix 0.1.

In the morning, there were again two workshops and sessions each, followed in the afternoon by additional sessions at outstanding industrial companies, guided tours of luxury hotels, and a visit to the south portal of the Brenner Base Tunnel. There was also a visit to the Griesserhof, where agriculture and tourism go hand in hand in an exemplary way. And then came the mysterious gathering for netzvitamineABEND.

The opening evening of the 15th DestinationCamp captivated with creative topic pitches and a keynote by Bernd Reutemann. He emphasized the importance of service orientation and emotionality and introduced the "Weglass-Wednesday".

The evening concluded at Design Offices Fürst & Friedrich, where Düsseldorf's local breweries served their Altbiere under the brand "Altbier United".

14 intensive sessions, along with in-depth workshops and exploration tours in Düsseldorf: That was Day 2 of DSTNCMP²⁵. In the evening, approximately 250 participants celebrated at the original brewery of Schumacher's Altbier Manufactory.

The absolute highlight: the Sakura Choir and the Japanese Men's Choir Düsseldorf with Japanese and German drinking and miners' songs.

Was the netzvitamineABEND most memorable part of the third evening of the DSTNCMP²⁵ in Düsseldorf? Or was it the finalists and winners of theDSTNCMP Award?

The 15th DestinationCamp in Düsseldorf has already come to an end. However, the date for the 16th edition of this important space for thought in German-speaking tourism has already been set: May 5 to 7 in Brixen, South Tyrol.

With a cinematic homage to James Bond, the DSTNCMP²⁴ in Bregenz was opened on Tuesday.

Where the film “Quantum of Solace” with Daniel Craig was staged in 2008, in 2024 approximately 280 tourism professionals and experts played the main role.

The 13 previous DestinationCamps were already known for their high points, and the 14th edition in Bregenz now also stands for „Tiefenrausch“. On the second day of DSTNCMP²⁴, there were several highlights in the morning sessions, the weather surprised almost 280 participants with sunshine and blue skies in the afternoon – and in the evening, winemaker Joseph Möth with his „Tiefenrausch“ project.

The challenge cup of DSTNCMP goes to Wangerländer Deichleuchten. And DSTNCMP²⁵ will be in Düsseldorf.

To top the brilliant closing gala at the Festspielhaus in Bregenz, however, will likely be a challenge for North Rhine-Westphalia's state capital. Düsseldorf's new tourism director Jens Ihsen had specifically come to Lake Constance to invite the participants of the 14th DestinationCamp.

On Friday morning, most participants headed home. However, for about 50 eager learners, DSTNCMP²⁴ continued on Friday morning in Dornbirn – at the local Creative Institute Vorarlberg.

Urs Treuthardt presented the data:room – a creative space where data from various sources and different perspectives is interdisciplinarily evaluated for current issues.

On Tuesday (May 09, 2023), DSTNCMP²³ kicked off at the Kultur Quartier Kufstein with more than 200 participants.

With 60 sessions and 43 impulse presentations, it breaks all previous records – and was awarded the Austrian Eco-label for Green Events as the first major event in Tyrol.

Everyone would have wished for Wednesday's weather to be like that of the opening day – but despite the rain, the 2nd day of DSTNCMP²³ proved to be a successful start for the 'Workation Project'.

The 13th DestinationCamp, the first outside of Hamburg, aims to exemplify how even smaller destinations can create new service offerings from the combination of vacation and meetings.

Some thought they knew, but their eyes widened even more as, at the edge of the small Passion Play village of Erl, behind the dandelion meadow, the futuristic dark glass and concrete facade of the Festspielhaus emerged.

The netzvitamineABEND was once again a highlight with its unique moments and part of the workation program.

For four days, Kufstein in Tyrol was the "space for thought for the German-speaking tourism industry".

The 13th edition of DestinationCamp successfully mastered the transformation from cosmopolitan Hamburg to small-town Kufstein on the Inn.

The new format will now be further developed with DSTNCMP²⁴ in Bregenz in May 2024.

What an opening for the 12th DSTNCMP! Bernhard Lingg kicked off the evening in his dynamically Bavarian and lively style, familiarizing participants with the organization, COVID-19 rules, and program of DSTNCMP²².

The theme of the evening program on Day 2 of DSTNCMP²² offered only a hint to Hamburg locals of the wide range of impressions and experiences awaiting the more than 230 participants: "From the Alster to the Elbe".

On Day 3 of DSTNCMP²², participants bid farewell to Hamburg, the city of bridges, a global metropolis and port city.

As soon as Hamburg's second-largest cinema hall in CinemaxX had filled in compliance with COVID-19 regulations, the intro from Pirates of the Caribbean faded out, and a warning triangle lit up on the giant screen. The 11th DSTNCMP in Hamburg was officially open.

Lively sessions, as well as harp music and drum rolls at the Chinese evening – many highlights awaited the participants of DSTNCMP²¹.

With 2 additional sessions across the 8 thematic strands, the 11th DSTNCMP continued on Thursday. There was no joint closing presentation. Instead, participants of DSTNCMP²¹ received a certificate for the first time.

#DCHH20 has concluded, with nearly 200 tourism professionals, hosts, service providers, and organization representatives returning to their workplaces.

Creating experiences, gaining insights, utilizing freedom – step by step, co-designing the destination as a valued living space, also for locals. This is what the participants of #DCHH19 identified as the particular challenges facing the industry.

The 8th DestinationCamp concluded on Sunday with 6 excellent 'scenario workshops'. Thematically, it was as diverse as the 18 sessions. From all positions and insights, an overarching theme finally emerged, a motto, perhaps even an appeal: SERENITY!

Everything related to holidays that can be digitized will be digitized in the near future. But that does not yet guarantee the experience of happiness that the guest seeks in their individual project of a beautiful life. The 'key factor' for this is the human element.

The conclusion of the sixth DestinationCamp questions our attitude: is our appreciation for the people around us and the (tourism) products we sell and buy adequate?

The conclusion of the 5th DestinationCamp primarily signifies a new beginning: locals become guests, DMOs become destination service organizations, new key figures determine success or failure, and 'within the tourism professional' lies more creative potential than we were aware of.

The fourth DestinationCamp has concluded. Toolset, start-up, data bazaar, de-cooperation model, open-air experience, and Travelcap were the central themes that have now left all participants inspired and motivated for their daily work.

The third DestinationCamp is now behind us. Three very emotional and incredibly memorable events. Hours and days that brought numerous enrichments in every respect!

Achieved. Two days of hard work are behind us. Two days of collaboration and analyzing key issues. Two days filled with controversial and profound discussions from diverse perspectives.

Two and a half days of engaging discussions and productive outcomes in HafenCity have concluded. Below are the initial results from Saturday's 4x6 sessions – all other details will follow ASAP.
