Approximately 15 sessions, each lasting 3 hours, on relevant topics from a European perspective, including idea workshops, inspiration sessions, and opportunities to share experiences.
Learning and working together with tourism professionals, experts, and decision-makers from the (German-speaking) European region.
Inspiration and motivation, new, adaptable solutions for real-world applications.
- Day 1 (Tuesday, June 15, 2027): Arrival, registration at the DSTNCMP²⁷ hotel, and get-together
- Day 2 (Wednesday, June 16, 2027): Opening with a keynote address, presentation of 2027 topics and sessions; insights into the AKADEMIE, Sessions 1, exploring Antwerp, evening event
- Day 3 (Thursday, June 17, 2027): Sessions 2 and 3, Explore Antwerp, netzvitamineABEND,DSTNCMP²⁷-Prize, Party
Meals and beverages are included every day. After the event (expected in August 2027), each participant will receive two copies of WERKSCHAU²⁷ — the documentation of the event’s results, which serves as a standard reference work for German-speaking tourism.

What makes the DSTNCMP²⁷ different?
DestinationCampcontinues to look toward the future: We don’t yet have the solutions for the day after tomorrow. But we’re consciously examining familiar ways of thinking and exploring new ideas by looking beyond our own horizons.
This enables participants to evaluate, abstract, and adapt the material to the specific requirements of their environment.
Why Antwerp?
Antwerp is located in the heart of Europe, but it is less "intellectual" than the political centers and more focused on tourism.
Belgium’s largest city offers a first-hand look at how mobility, tourism, MICE, retail, infrastructure, and urban development all come together.
Here, engaged participants will find interesting ideas for their own spheres of influence.
WHAT is changing with the sessions?
The DestinationCampsof recent years have shown that these increasingly complex approaches take time. More time.
As a result, we are extending the sessions to 3 hours —thereby creating the space for a deeper exploration of the public good aspects of tourism.
Why is the number of participants limited?
We are focusing the sessions on fewer topics—and at the same time, we are limiting the number of participants to a maximum of 150 people.
This ensures a focus on creative approaches and the development of new ways to address the challenges of tomorrow.

Do I have to speak English or Flemish in Antwerp?
The official language of DestinationCampwill remain German.
The official languages of Belgium are Dutch, French, and German. English is widely spoken and understood throughout the country.
