Call for Proposals: Venues.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR VENUES FOR THE NEXT FEW YEARS
Showcase your destination and become a host location for the DSTNCMP. Following Kufsteinerland23, Bregenz24, Düsseldorf25 and Brixen26 you, too, have the chance to apply to host the event in your city or region.
- Event Type: A Space for Reflection in Tourism – A mix of a conference, moderated workshops, and a BarCamp
- Dates: Spring 2028, Spring 2029, etc. – Tuesdays through Thursdays
- Target audience: European (typically German-speaking) tourism professionals, executives, and experts
- Size: approx. 300 people including crew, private event
- Duration: 2.5 days + 1 day for setup and pre-opening
CRITERIA & FRAMEWORK CONDITIONS
In any case, we— netzvitamine GmbH, as the organizer—will be responsible for the overall organization and execution of the DSTNCMP. The venues we are seeking starting in 2028 should, within this framework, primarily support us in meeting the organizational and financial requirements based on the following criteria.
In addition, we welcome and encourage you to share creative ideas. We are committed to continuous improvement each year and to achieving a collaborative outcome, and we look forward to your suggestions and/or alternative solutions to our requests!
WE HAVE THE FOLLOWING REQUESTS FOR FUTURE HOST CITIES:
WORKSHOP SPACES
- netzvitamineHUB as the central location and a place for participants and partners to connect. This is where personal interactions and refreshments take place between sessions (preferably in a relaxed atmosphere, with lounge furniture, a factory-style setting, or similar).
- 8–9 equivalent workshop spaces, each accommodating 30–35 people; ideally located in or very close to thenetzvitamineHUB.
- Rooms are fully equipped with technical amenities (screens/projection screens + projectors, sound system), can be darkened, and are air-conditioned.
SPECIAL LOCATIONS
Venue for the pre-opening with partners, hosts, and the crew (approx. 35 people) on the evening before the event.
- Opening Location for keynote, opening show, and presentation of the topics (can take place at netzvitamineHUB) with a stage and lighting/sound system (for approx. 300 people).
- Venue for the first evening after the opening, for a get-together or casual networking (preferably a flying buffet; for about 300 people).
- Venue for the second evening: ideally a venue representative of the city or region, with corresponding food and beverages (for approximately 300 people).
- Venue for netzvitamineABEND closing event on Day 3 with a "wow factor"—if possible, with historical or cultural significance (for approximately 300 people).
OTHER GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Co-working: Organizing and reserving suitable spaces for small meetings and workspaces for participants during their free time at the DSTNCMP.
- Additional sessions/afternoon activity program:
Responsible for organization, coordination, funding, and participant management (2–4 concurrent program activities, approx. 3 hours per “session/activity”). - Crewhotel: Arranging for approximately 35 rooms at the "Family & Friends" rate.
- Hotel Allocations: Negotiate on-demand room allocations for participants across different price segments, with a preference for online booking through the venue’s IBE (which can be integrated into dstncmp.com ).
- Assignment of dedicated points of contact with decision-making authority: From planning through to the follow-up of the event, a core team—including a plan for coverage in case of absence—should be available to handle on-site coordination.
- Leveraging contacts and "connections": Special rates should be available for the aforementioned facilities.
- Good transportation access: The venue as a whole, and all individual locations in particular, should be easily accessible by public transportation from throughout the German-speaking world.
- Sustainability Commitment: Giving preference to sustainable hotels and local providers/caterers; incorporating special—preferably social—program elements (see also previous activities).
- Blue Meeting/Blue Event:
Certification, if the venue is interested. Joint implementation with coordination and cost coverage - Support with communication and ticket sales: Coordinated communication, sending discount codes to special guests and on-site service providers, etc.
- DSTNCMP-Buddies:
(approx. 6 people), including lodging if necessary. To-do list: Set-up and tear-down, accreditation, branding, organizing workshop spaces, running errands on-site. In cooperation with MCI (hotel management school, college, tourism team, or similar)




Your (FINANCIAL) Contributions
- Funding and assistance with organizing the pre-opening event for the briefing and to get to know the partners, moderators, and the crew.
- Organization, coordination, and funding of all artists and DJs for the three evenings and, if applicable, “creative” lunches.
- Implementation and funding of the activity program (admission fees, guided tours, etc.).
- Organization and funding of any necessary shuttle services and/or public transportation tickets for free travel to evening events and activities, as well as public transportation tickets for free travel to participants’ hotels in the surrounding area.
- Providing a space that serves as both a meeting room and a living spacespace( "Backstage") for at least 6, preferably 8, crew members (film, photography, editorial, and project management)—preferably with private bedrooms and a central area for film production/editing and editorial meetings, which will primarily take place in the evening or at night (a large vacation rental or similar accommodation is also an option).
- Provision of meals for the entire crew (from 1 day before the pre-opening event until 1 day after dismantling)—specifically, beverages (water, beer, wine) and meals on the days of setup and dismantling.
- Support in Recruiting "DSTNCMP Buddies"" (at least 4 people, including lodging if necessary).
- Organization and assistance with permits and the implementation of setup and takedown services (flagging, projection of the DSTNCMP logo onto public spaces, etc.).
- Support in selecting topics and securing funding for the keynote (including travel and lodging expenses).
- In-Kind Sponsorship from Gifts as a a token of appreciation for partners, crew, and hosts (approx. 50 items in total), with the goal of ensuring the venue is remembered positively.

- A positive long-term perception of your city or region in the context of innovation and a solution-oriented approach among the leadership of German-speaking tourism companies.
- Establishing a benchmark and positioning your company in the MICE sector, as well as strengthening and expanding collaboration with regional stakeholders in the field of innovative event expertise.
