CORNELIUS OBIER

After completing his business administration degree in Hamburg , Cornelius served as a research assistant from 1996 to 1998 at the Institute for Business Administration and Tourism Management at Leuphana University in Lüneburg. He is active in the German Society for Tourism Studies (DGT) and served as its managing director from 1997 to 1998. In 1998, he founded PROJECT M GmbH and has been managing partner.

Since 2010, he has also been a managing partner of the European Tourism Institute (ETI). In 2022, he founded the House of Tourism (HoT) in collaboration with Serviceplan and Saint Elmo’s Tourismusmarketing to bring together expertise in the areas of destination management, hospitality, and tourism.
