KICK-OFF #DCHH14

Stories from the Bathtub
There it was, the long-awaited keynote—one that was completely different: a Coca-Cola executive who sees himself as the “central moderator,” views every person who buys even a single bottle as a stakeholder, and has structured his entire corporate model as the nightmare of every major corporation. It’s time to stop just talking and start turning visions into reality!
The main theme of this year's Creativity and Future Workshop had already become apparent in the run-up to the event through the topic surveys. "Vision" is what drives our journey into the future of tourism and will be the focus of our discussions over the next two days.
A vision for more courage and less risk assessment. A vision for more critical thinking and less clinging to the past. A vision for more action and less planning.
With his keynote address, Uwe Lübbermann provided compelling inspiration to open our minds and spend the next two days working on new solutions—true to the motto
The panel discussion that followed then delved into the question of whether and how the tourism industry can learn from "schwarze Brause."
Building on that, the moderators and mind-mappers were then introduced, and together they presented the main topics for Saturday’s sessions and the flight routes. So let’s look forward to plenty of work, exciting discussions, and a warm, friendly atmosphere at the fourth DestinationCamp in Hamburg!
