DAY 2 #DCHH13

on April 28, 2013 by Benjamin Buhl

Did anyone say Google here?

Today we're making the daily summary significantly shorter. At least in terms of writing. Because enough has already been written:

6 topics, 4 discussion rounds x 4 mind map branches x countless challenges, ideas, opportunities, and solutions = a lot of material for the Scenario Workshop!

It should be noted that a wide range of expectations and individual experiences were largely brought to a common denominator. Root causes of problems were identified, opportunities documented, to now derive concrete measures.

It's interesting that this industry sometimes doesn't care much about certain keywords, what challenges exist within its own ranks, where there's individual need for improvement, or which walls could be torn down and new bridges built. If "Google" comes up in a session, we're often quick to flock to it. After all, there's always something to complain about, discuss, or even talk to death. Even if, in this case, it was a clever trick by the moderation team to "promote" their topic and the content was truly profoundly useful, extremely important, and for some, certainly quite different than expected: we often prefer to dedicate ourselves to things we can't change anyway, rather than those with which one can achieve success in the short term and with a little effort. That effort is less, isn't it? ;)

But we're not at the end yet, and so far, it hasn't been about measures and action items. This is precisely why there's Day 3, which we can therefore look forward to with great anticipation.

What else happened?

Or in other words: how work and fun can be combined on a long day is shown in the film summary and the first pictures. With these impressions, Wilken wishes you a pleasant time in Hamburg's nightlife. See you later!
