The expanded range of topics and the new formats for facilitating discussions were the right steps toward further developing DestinationCamp. At least, that’s my impression based on the preliminary results and the overall atmosphere on the evening of the second day.
More lightheartedness and more dynamism—and: it’s okay to “rub people the wrong way” every now and then. While I had thought earlier in the morning that the participants were taking a “soft” approach, as the day went on I found myself witnessing more and more emotionally charged discussions. It was especially the “new” facilitation formats, such as the Magic Roundtable, that provided opportunities for intense and controversial exchanges of views.
