In his keynote address for the second session on Wednesday in the AI track, Felix Welckenbach, Director of Inbound Marketing, will explain how a DMO can use AI to find first-class solutions for its evolving needs and optimize the visitor experience for its travelers.

Marketing is at the heart of HomeToGo’s AI journey: To this end, HomeToGo has optimized every automatable part of the value chain—from improving advertising efficiency using Google AI tools such as Value-Based Bidding (VBB) and Broad Match to developing in-house tools for organic growth and strategic customer retention. Through the seamless integration of AI, bidding strategies, keyword research, campaign optimization, and content creation are automated. This allows marketing experts to focus their energy on strategic decisions and creative innovation.
Expanding AI Innovation Beyond Marketing
Building on its experience with AI integrations, the team has also developed ranking and learning algorithms to improve the search experience for travelers and, among other things, optimize the quality of vacation rental photos.
The launch of AI-Mode, an AI-powered travel planner that provides personalized recommendations through simple, text-based conversations, is further evidence of HomeToGo's leadership in AI implementation.
In addition to AI Mode, HomeToGo has introduced a range of AI products on its marketplace to enhance the user experience. These include AI Mode Web for desktop users, as well as Smart Reviews and Smart Offer Summaries, which provide AI-generated summaries of reviews and property descriptions. They help travelers make informed booking decisions quickly.
Last but not least, HomeToGo is testing an AI-powered travel assistant that offers travelers targeted support for any questions they may have before and after booking.
