A native of Stralsund, she grew up in Nepal, Malawi, and India, studied geography at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, and completed her master’s degree in Tourism Development Strategies in Stralsund. Her master’s thesis was titled “Motorcycle Tourism: Curse or Blessing? An Analysis of Various Aspects of Motorcycle Tourism in Western Tyrol, Austria.” She has been working as a consultant at Kohl & Partner in Stuttgart since October 2021. Jana’s focus is on destination consulting and development.
A certified business mediator, she enjoys facilitating participatory processes. Her focus is on guiding and mediating conflicts in the tourism industry and providing constructive support in finding solutions.
