For years, he has helped shape how the DSTNCMPis “received”: Since 2015—with a two-year hiatus—he has been the official photographer for this industry event. His images have left their mark on many WERKSCHAUEN. Perhaps it’s because of his passion for wedding photographythat his photos are always taken without a lot of fuss, but with a great deal of empathy capture the exact mood and, through their visual language, convey the vibrancy of the moment through their visual language.
Johannes has been out and about with his camera since he was 16 and has made a career for himself as a photographer in Hamburg, specializing in wedding, event, and portrait photography.

This will be the seventh time I’ve accompanied DestinationCamp with my camera and captured its excitement in photos. For me, this event is a paradox: despite all the hard work and long days, I always come away feeling reenergized. It must be because of that special spirit that you can only experience in person.
