DSTNCMP²⁶ TOPICS CONFIRMED

The 16th DestinationCamp once again promises to be an industry event of exceptional quality: From May 05 - 07, 2026, experts from tourism, science, agencies, and OTAs from the DACH regions and Italy, as well as consultants and system providers, will gather in Brixen, South Tyrol, to discuss current strategies in German-speaking tourism. Following the evaluation of the industry-wide online survey, the topics have now also been confirmed.

Around 250 participants are again expected for DSTNCMP²⁶ in South Tyrol's Eisack Valley. A diverse supporting program has been developed for them in one of South Tyrol's oldest cities, featuring the World Heritage site Neustift Abbey. Within the nearly 900-year-old monastery walls and the adjacent modern educational center, 28 workshop sessions and 4 ACADEMY lectures will address pressing industry questions and professional development.

Participants aim to explore seven thematic areas. The spectrum ranges from "Female Leadership" to "Transformation & Adaptation Strategies". They will discuss how to "Utilize Digital Data Strategically" or "Position Destinations for the Future", how to "Shape Living Environments with Co-Creation", and how "Communication & Personalization" can succeed under current conditions.

Participants of DSTNCMP²⁶ from May 05 - 07, 2026 in Brixen will benefit from unique insights into leading European businesses.

Halfway between Brenner and Bolzano, the "think tank of the tourism industry" thus becomes a space for experimentation and experience: In the optional three-hour in-depth sessions in the afternoons, the central question is always: "What and how can tourism professionals learn from other businesses?"

Additionally, there are experiential offerings such as "Wine and Indulgence," a visit to the Brenner Base Tunnel construction site, a city exploration "Architecture as an Economic Factor," and – for discerning participants or those who wish to better care for their guests – four highly acclaimed wellness and SPA hotels will provide insights into their excellence strategies.

This year's 16th DestinationCamp continues the proven combination of intensive thematic workshops, inspiring evening programs and optional in-depth sessions, as well as getting to know the region and its specific characteristics. A special highlight in South Tyrol and for some participants a reason to extend their DSTNCMP²⁶ visit: From April 29 to May 16, 2026, light artists will transform water locations, fountains, and historic buildings in the old town into an open-air gallery on the theme "Water is Life – Light is Art" at the "Brixen Water Light Festival". And: the DSTNCMP²⁶ ticket is the entry pass for this.
