WERKSCHAU²³ PUBLISHED

It was the first DestinationCamp outside Hamburg, the first with distributed locations in a small town in Austria – DSTNCMP²³ with workation and experience offerings in Kufsteinerland. The WERKSCHAU has now been published for this. With 236 pages, it is the most comprehensive to date. It documents the workshop results from 60 sessions on ten major thematic areas in German-speaking tourism, the keynote by trust researcher Eva Schulte-Austum, and presents finalists and award winners of the DSTNCMP²³ Award.

Almost 300 participants came to Kufstein in May 2023. DSTNCMP²³ was the first major event in Tyrol to be awarded the "Green Meetings & Green Events" environmental label by the federal government in Vienna. It set new standards for the climate footprint of large events. The Austrian Convention Bureau and Austria Tourism identified DSTNCMP²³ as a "Proof of Concept" for their guidelines on the "transformation of classic meetings into vibrant meanings".

The 13th DestinationCamp in Kufstein was designed as a workation event for the first time and extended to four days. The next DestinationCamp in Bregenz on Lake Constance builds on these experiences and will be modified accordingly: The Tuesday afternoon with an opening event and keynote will be followed at DSTNCMP²⁴ on Wednesday and Thursday by two days of thematic sessions, experience offerings, and the legendary evening events.

For those particularly eager for knowledge, the "data:room" also awaits on Friday morning. This interdisciplinary innovation project by Bodensee-Vorarlberg Tourism aims to help make better decisions on a defined question based on data. It is a temporary room-within-a-room installation for the exchange of data and conversations among people with as diverse mindsets as possible for solution-oriented feedback.

The DSTNCMP²⁴ in Bregenz is reduced to two and a half days and can optionally be supplemented by the "Deep Dive Session" on Friday.
