After her studies, the graduated economist served for seven years as Head of Tourism at Kassel Marketing and in 2008 joined Tourismus-Agentur Schleswig-Holstein (TASH) as Marketing Director, later becoming its Managing Director.
Since 2016, as Managing Director of TMH, she has been implementing the state's tourism strategies on behalf of the Hessian state government, and since 2024, she has also been actively involved in tourism policy as Managing Director of the Hessian Tourism Association.
