CONCLUSION DSTNCMP²¹

ON JULY 09, 2021 BY WOLFGANG WEILER

SUCCESSFUL FINALE.

The DSTNCMP21 continued on Thursday with 2 more sessions across the 8 theme tracks. There was no joint closing presentation. Instead, participants of the 11th DSTNCMP received a certificate for the first time.

The results of the 40 sessions will now be compiled by the participants, with the support of the facilitators, and presented in the WERKSCHAU . It is scheduled to be published at the end of September and will serve as the basis for continuously updating our understanding of current issues in tourism.

Certificates & Cheese

The 11th DSTNCMP at the Grand Elysee***** in Hamburg concluded with a joint lunch in the silberstern-Arena. Before that, netzvitamine Managing Director Benjamin Buhl thanked all contributors and supporters of DSTNCMP21:

That such a DSTNCMP was possible for the second time under dynamic Corona conditions is primarily thanks to our ten partners, who have trusted and supported us at all times.

As a symbolic thank you, the DSTNCMP head presented the partners, moderators, and companions with a branded cheese slicer and mountain cheese from Hof-Milch from his Allgäu home region.

All participants received a personal certificate for the first time, reflecting the main topics of their theme track.

PROTECTION CONCEPT exemplarily adhered to

Due to the strict Corona regulations of the Hamburg Senate and the special permit for DSTNCMP21 , masks had to be worn at all times, even during sessions, this year. However, participants "exemplarily adhered to the extensive requirements," praised Benjamin Buhl.

Curiosity, openness, and a joy for communication were essential for knowledge transfer and gaining insights during the 40 sessions.

The lively exchange and agile networking once again demonstrated the importance of such in-person, face-to-face events for the industry, particularly during challenging times.

New Format Proves Successful

The new format and the expansion to 8 thematic tracks proved highly successful. The concept "fully delivered, as smaller groups formed trusted communities and engaged in more intensive, intimate, understanding, and appreciative discussions."

As the conference rooms and the Grand Ballroom of the Grand Elysée Hotel barely showed any trace of DSTNCMP21, Benjamin Buhl concluded during the final debriefing, over pizza and wine sponsored by Rheinland-Pfalz-Tourismus:

At the close of this 11th DSTNCMP, I feel immense gratitude towards the team, partners, moderators, and helping hands. The high esteem and numerous words of praise from participants are a testament to your hard work and tireless dedication.

Date for 2022 Confirmed
