TICKET SALES FOR THE "
" DESTINATION CAMP IN KUFSTEIN BEGIN

New conference format featuring ten meeting venues and a "workation" atmosphere in Tyrol

From May 9 to 12, 2023, the German-speaking tourism industry will gather for the 13th DestinationCamp. For the first time, the meeting place for the industry won’t be the metropolis of Hamburg, with its 1.9 million residents, but rather the small town of Kufstein am Inn—a hundred times smaller: Tyrolean joie de vivre instead of a Hanseatic business atmosphere, Alpine peaks instead of the Landungsbrücken. This has implications for the conference format: What used to be a three-day intensive working meeting at a single location will now be a four-day“workation event, spread across ten unique venues in the small Tyrolean town.

We are grateful that, thanks to a fantastic network in Kufstein, we can expand the DestinationCamp series and work together to further develop it into a modern, experience-oriented conference format with workation elements.
Chief Organizer Benjamin Buhl of the host company netzvitamine GmbH in Sonthofen

For the DSTNCMP23Benjamin Buhl therefore expects many additional attendees—including from Austria, Switzerland, and southern Germany. In Hamburg, even during the COVID-19 pandemic, well over 200 representatives from the tourism, hospitality, leisure, technology, science, and political sectors had been meeting annually.

If you want to secure one of the limited early-bird tickets, you should hurry: They’re only available through October 31, 2022 —for 1,200 euros (net). The standard ticket costs 1,333.33 euros (net).

Considering that there is one additional day, three evening programs, and two recreational programs—for a total of 60 sessions to choose from—as well as the new workation and meeting offerings and in light of general cost increases, the increase in ticket prices is moderate.

For the first time, a short-term ticket will also be available in 2023: It is valid only for the last two days and costs 800 euros (net). This ticket allows participants to attend four sessions, the evening program, and a recreational program on Thursday and Friday.

Another new feature that makes it easier to decide quickly: All tickets can be transferred to another person through the end of April 2023 for a small processing fee.

Ticket sales begin on September 22, 2022.
