NEW IMPULSES FOR WORK AT HOME

The 13th DestinationCamp has ended, the roll-ups have been taken down

After two more rounds of sessions in the morning and a concluding lunch, the DSTNCMP²³ concluded on Friday at the Kultur Quartier Kufstein. The 13th DestinationCamp in Kufstein was the first outside Germany, the first in a small town, featuring 54 future-oriented workshops across nine thematic strands and six sessions in the netzvitamineAKADEMIE, making it the largest and, at four days, the longest to date.

Almost 300 experts from tourism, business, science, digitalization, sustainability, and politics gathered in the Tyrolean small town on the Inn for this event – most returned with new ideas and inspiration.

EXAMPLE OF "WORKATION" IN RURAL AREAS

For the first time, the DestinationCamp was designed as an example of "workation" in a holiday region: two two-hour sessions of focused work each morning, afternoons free for activities in Kufsteinerland or for using the co-working area, and evenings for small talk at the flying buffet in the fortress, a Tyrolean evening at the mountain inn, and cultural experiences at the Festspielhaus in Erl, Tyrol's Passion Play village.

There, too, a premiere: For the first time, the curtain rose for a festive dinner on the stage of the Festspielhaus.

320,000 STEPS OF THE FIVE HELPERS

In Kufstein's cityscape, 14 fewer beach flags are now flying; the DSTNCMP flags have been taken down from the flagpoles on the city bridge below the castle; 56 roll-ups have been rolled up again; over 20 digital info steles have been switched back to Kufsteinerland themes; almost ten hours of film edited, over 5,000 photos taken.

The five helping hands from the scientific partner of the DSTNCMP, MCI Innsbruck, and from the local university of applied sciences walked around 320,000 steps to ensure supplies between the session locations and in the netzvitamineHUB.

The ten companions are now reviewing their notes from the sessions and preparing their documentation for the WERKSCHAU²³. It is scheduled to go to print at the beginning of August.

POSITIVE ASSESSMENT OF THE NEW FORMAT

The organizers of DSTNCMP²³, netzvitamine GmbH from Sonthofen and Hamburg, reported a positive outcome. Chief Organizer Benjamin Buhl:

With the DestinationCamp in Kufstein, we have shown that the format proven in large cities can also be adapted for a small regional destination.
