VisionAIR: Taking off at eye level!
The fourth DestinationCamp has landed. The long-haul flight into the tourism future reached its peak today with the scenario workshops: Toolset, Start-up, Data Bazaar, De-cooperation Model, Open-Air Experience, and Travelcap were the central fuel components that now allow all participants to arrive in their daily lives inspired and motivated.
After a brief presentation of the interim results from Saturday's discussion rounds, another two hours of intensive work, pitching, equipped with bananas, and so on, followed. In short: Sunday was as intensive and productive as ever.
Perhaps it was the great summer weather that created the good atmosphere, perhaps the expansion of moderation and creativity techniques, perhaps our charming stewardess who kept making us laugh, or Captain Lingg, who steered our flight safely and purposefully... It was probably a mix of everything - or as Horst Graf puts it in the video:
There's nothing more to add today, and I am personally incredibly happy and grateful for all the feedback we received! Looking back over the past four years, it's clear that consistently embracing and implementing the points of criticism has resulted in almost no significant suggestions for improvement this year, which makes us a little proud!
We will, of course, be working on the new suggestions and wishes again until 2015, and thanks to today's input, we will also be able to put the financing on a new footing. Many thanks for the open words and the exchange!
Two and a half days of hard work are behind us
What was exciting – and also unprecedented – was that the term "eye-level" was mentioned, written, or demanded at least once in almost all topic clusters today. This is the result of an inspiring keynote that conveyed exactly that.
Thus, the conclusion of our journey into the future of tourism is clear and unambiguous:
