2013 SUMMARY

We! Passion for Responsibility.
The third DestinationCamp is now behind us. Three very emotional and incredibly wonderful events. Hours and days that were deeply enriching—in every way!
Somehow, the third year is a very special one. It’s the year of decision. At least, that’s how we see it. In the first year, everything is new—for everyone. In the second, there’s a “grace period.” But now, for the third year, expectations were understandably higher; the grace period was over, and the procedures were familiar to some of the returning participants. On top of that , there were new additions, such as the discussion panel, dinner in the crypt, movies every evening to recap the day, a discussion moderator, a focus on the topic clusters, the smoker’s lounge, and so on. From an organizational standpoint, this meant a 20% increase in output for nearly 80% more effort...
Back to the key question: “Should we continue in 2014?” was my final question to the 2013 participants. A pivotal question, not a rhetorical one ;) Are there already enough events and platforms? Is the “Creative and Future Workshop” format important and worth establishing? This isn’t about flattery, but rather about the concrete and central question of its purpose and value. We at netzvitamine cannot answer this question (on our own)!

After #dchh13 comes #dchh14
The decision on whether to hold the event was made quickly and unequivocally: “It’s a no-brainer!” So there will be a fourth DestinationCamp—from April 25 to 27, 2014. And I hereby promise in writing: we’ll try again to implement as much of the feedback as possible, further optimize the processes and our focus on results, and—after a few hours of sleep—get to work on the preparations with all our heart and passion! Registration for #dchh14 is now open.

Another 2.5 days of hard work are behind us. Days that often began with accusations and finger-pointing, but which very quickly led to a recognition of synergies and the opportunity to seize shared opportunities as the sessions progressed.
The detailed summary of the results, presented as an exhibition of the works, and all the images will be available through the end of May.
It’s great to see that this year, everyone is not only committed to making a difference, but has also developed very concrete measures and tasks that can be implemented using existing resources. And that is precisely what led to the 2013 conclusion:
WE! Passion for Responsibility
For now, we’ll let our impressions and lessons sink in, and then we’ll pick out specific elements to put into practice. And until then, our “Sunday Movie” from TrustYou will help us relive all those positive encounters over and over again:
