DSTNCMP²⁶ DAY 3
Western Lake Constance wins the DSTNCMP²⁶-Award, Antwerp will host DSTNCMP²⁷.
What began with surprised wonder ended in a lively party. To energetic sets of melodic techno and house, and driving rhythms from synthesizers, guests danced into the close of DSTNCMP26. The emotional soundscapes from South Tyrol's most famous DJane ENA (Verena Senn) were the icing on the cake for the magnificent 16th DestinationCamp in Brixen.
As usual, the location for the third evening was a closely guarded secret by the DestinationCamp organizers. The more than 220 participants were all the more surprised when the transfer buses took them to the industrial area. On the southern outskirts of Brixen, between the Eisack river and the highway, several internationally renowned companies have their headquarters. Here, the buses stopped in front of the administrative headquarters of Progress AG.
The facade of the European market leader in precast concrete elements, clearly structured with glass and concrete elements and gleaming white, did not suggest how well one could celebrate and enjoy right next to the concrete plant. The company has six decades of experience in residential and commercial construction, hotel construction, agricultural building construction, and civil engineering. From the rooftop terrace, the view swept over the Eisack Valley and Brixen; inside the company's conference room, festively set tables awaited the guests.
They were treated to specialties from the Kircherhof. Sisters Barbara and Verena Noflatscher, along with their partners, are the fourth generation to run this Bioland-certified fruit and vegetable farm next to the village church in Albeins. This year, the inn was honored with a green Michelin star. The guests at netzvitamineABEND were able to see this for themselves, netzvitamineABEND as the moderation teams, premium partners, and netzvitaminePARTNER had already done at the pre-opening on the first day of the event.
DSTNCMP26 AWARD FOR ACCESSIBLE ACTION WEEK IN WESTERN LAKE CONSTANCE
Hannah Hirt and Nadine Hölzl would actually have preferred to be in Konstanz – after all, the "Accessible Western Lake Constance" Action Week, initiated by them, overlapped with DSTNCMP26. But now, on Tuesday, they can place the huge winner's trophy on the table at the supervisory board meeting as winners of the DSTNCMP26 Award.
Four finalists made it to the final round for the "Just Do It Award" of DestinationCamp.
The 2nd place went to the HÆDI Festival in St. Peter-Ording. Over three days, it aims to make the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals visible, tangible, and experienceable through music, workshops, art, and innovative ideas.
The 3rd place in the mixed voting by the expert and public jury was secured by the campaign "Fashion Meets Destination" by Linking Brands. The agency brought together the Zillertal region with the young fashion label "Stoked & Woke" to jointly appeal to young target groups.
Winners can expect media prizes from the award sponsor "ZEIT-Verlag" and the netzvitamineAKADEMIE, as well as from "CMR cross media redaktion", valued at over 40,000 Euros.
However, the 4th finalist did not leave empty-handed: The "Moselle Wine Christmas Market" in five historic wine cellars in Traben-Trarbach receives a voucher for the netzvitamineAKADEMIE.
A TOUCHING FAREWELL FROM THE CREATOR OF " WERKSCHAU"
For twelve years, he helped shape DestinationCamp and developed the WERKSCHAU into an increasingly valuable reference work. With the 12th edition for DSTNCMP26, the editor-in-chief is stepping down. After its completion at the end of July, he will hand over the editorial office.
The netzvitamineTEAM and the participants expressed their gratitude with a moving film, a photo show spanning 12 years, and AI-styled messages from tourism professionals to a visibly moved Wolfgang Weiler (that's me, and therefore this paragraph must suffice).
POSITIVE ASSESSMENT OF DSTNCMP26
After 16 more exciting workshops and sessions in the morning and a repetition of the additional sessions and experience offerings from the previous day, the 16th DestinationCamp concluded on Thursday afternoon. Both the participants, the moderation teams, and the organizers netzvitamine were able to draw an overall positive conclusion.
Not only was the atmosphere fantastic, but – as far as can already be seen – the total of 32 sessions and workshops were also extremely productive.
WERKSCHAU TO BE PUBLISHED IN JULY
The evaluation over the coming weeks will show how far-reaching and in-depth the results of DSTNCMP26 in Brixen were. The WERKSCHAU26 is scheduled for release at the end of July.
ANTWERP – AN INTERNATIONAL PORT CITY OF STATURE AND CHARISMA
The location and dates for the 17th DestinationCamp have been set: Tuesday, June 15 to Thursday, June 17, 2027, in Antwerp, Belgium.
Following Kufstein, Bregenz, and now Brixen, Antwerp will set another international accent for the industry gathering in 2027. The city is similar in size to Düsseldorf, but as Europe's second-largest port after Rotterdam, it plays in a far more international league.
Antwerp is upscale, sophisticated, and edgy all at once. A center for avant-garde fashion and progressive art. Both traditional and youthfully student-like, it combines historical charm with a rebellious, creative energy.
Stefan Möhler, also Managing Director of netzvitamine:A prime example of how culture, commerce, and the creative economy can be linked to create compact, highly marketable experiences. Antwerp will once again open up entirely new perspectives on our entrepreneurial activities.
