DSTNCMP²⁶ DAY 3
Western Lake Constance WinstheDSTNCMP²⁶Award; Antwerp Will Host theDSTNCMP²⁷.
What began with a sense of wonder ended with a wild party. To energetic sets of melodic techno and house, as well as driving synth rhythms, the guests danced into the closing hours of DSTNCMP26. The emotional soundscapes of South Tyrol’s most famous female DJ ENA (Verena Senn) were the icing on the cake for the spectacular 16th DestinationCampin Brixen.
As usual, the location of the third evening was a closely guarded secret among theDestinationCamp organizers. The more than 220 participants were all the more surprised when the shuttle buses took them to the industrial park. On the southern outskirts of Brixen, between the Eisack River and the highway, several internationally renowned companies have their headquarters. Here, the buses stopped in front of the Progress AG headquarters.
The facade of Europe’s market leader in precast concrete elements—with its clean, glossy white design featuring glass and concrete elements—gave no hint of just how well one can celebrate and enjoy oneself right next to the concrete plant. The company has six decades of experience in residential and commercial construction, hotel construction, agricultural building construction, and civil engineering. From the rooftop terrace, the view swept across the Eisack Valley and Brixen, while festively set tables awaited guests in the company’s conference room.
They were treated to specialties from the Kircherhof. Sisters Barbara and Verena Noflatscher, along with their partners, are the fourth generation to run this Bioland-certified fruit and vegetable farm next to the village church in Albeins. This year, the inn was honored with a green Michelin star. The guests at the netzvitamineABEND were able to see this for themselves, just as the moderation teams, premium partners, and netzvitaminePARTNER had already done at the pre-opening on the first day of the event.
DSTNCMP26-PRICE FOR THE "BARRIER-FREE ON THE WESTERN LAKE CONSTANCE" PROMOTIONAL WEEK
Hannah Hirt and Nadine Hölzl would actually have preferred to be in Konstanz—after all, the “Accessible Western Lake Constance” action week they initiated overlapped with the DSTNCMP26. But now, at Tuesday’s supervisory board meeting, they’ll be able to present the huge winner’s trophy as the winners of the DSTNCMP26award.
Four finalists had made it to the final round of the DestinationCamp“Just Do It” Award.
Second place went to the HÆDI Festival in St. Peter-Ording. Over the course of three days, the festival aims to make the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals visible, tangible, and experiential through music, workshops, art, and innovative ideas.
Third place was awarded to the campaign "Fashion Meets Destination" by Linking Brands. The agency partnered the Zillertal with the young fashion label “Stoked & Woke” to jointly appeal to young target audiences.
The winners will receive media awards from the award sponsor "ZEIT-Verlag" and the netzvitamineAKADEMIE as well as from the "CMR cross media redaktion" worth more than 40,000 euros.
But the fourth finalist didn't go home empty-handed either: The "Mosel Wine Night Market" , held in five historic wine cellars in Traben-Trarbach, will receive a gift certificate for the netzvitamineAKADEMIE.
A TOUCHING FAREWELL FROM THE CREATOR OF THE EXHIBITION
For twelve years, he helped shape DestinationCampand turned the WERKSCHAU into an increasingly valuable reference work. With the 12th edition of DSTNCMP26 , the editor-in-chief is stepping down. Once it is completed at the end of July, he will hand over the editorial team.
The netzvitamineTEAM and the participants expressed their gratitude to a visibly moved Wolfgang Weiler with a touching film, a photo slideshow spanning 12 years, and AI-generated messages from the tourism professionals (that’s me, so this paragraph will have to do).
POSITIVE RESULTS FOR THE DSTNCMP26
After another 16 exciting workshops and sessions in the morning, along with a repeat of the additional sessions and hands-on activities from the previous day, the 16th DestinationCampcame to a close on Thursday afternoon. The participants, the facilitation teams, and the organizers, netzvitamine, all came away with a overall positive assessment .
Not only was the atmosphere fantastic, but—as far as we can tell so far—the 32 sessions and workshops were also extremely productive.
"Werkschau " Will Be Published in July
Just how far-reaching and profound are the results of the DSTNCMP26 in Brixen will become clear in the coming weeks. The WERKSCHAU26 is scheduled to be published at the end of July.
ANTWERP – AN INTERNATIONAL PORT CITY WITH STYLE AND CHARISMA
The location and dates for the 17th DestinationCamphave been set: Tuesday, June 15, through Thursday, June 17, 2027, in Antwerp, Belgium.
Following Kufstein, Bregenz, and now Brixen, Antwerp will add another international highlight to the industry gathering in 2027. The city is about the same size as Düsseldorf, but asEurope’s second-largest port after Rotterdam, it operates on a far more international scale.
Antwerp is sophisticated, elegant, and edgy all at once. It is a hub for avant-garde fashion and progressive art. With its blend of tradition and youthful, student-oriented vibes, it combines historic charm with a rebellious, creative energy.
Stefan Möhler, also managing director of netzvitamine:“A prime example of how culture, commerce, and the creative economy can be combined into cohesive, marketable experiences. Antwerp will once again open up entirely new perspectives on our business activities.”
