Farewell to Hamburg

It's rare for just under three days to evoke such a strong sense of farewell. On the third day of DSTNCMP²², it was time to bid farewell to the city of bridges, the global port city of Hamburg, to approximately 240 participants of the popular industry event, and to the team of the organizing netzvitamine and their helpers.

After a total of 45 sessions filled with discussions, arguments, laughter, and solutions, a touch of melancholy now sets in on the journey home. For twelve years, Hamburg provided the setting for the leading industry event in German-speaking tourism; now, for the time being, it served as the backdrop for the industry's space for thought for the last time. The next DSTNCMP will be in a different location, which has yet to be found.

From Nudging To Nude Hiking

The brilliant DSTNCMP evening event on Day 2 concluded for many participants only in the late hours of the night – and yet the sessions of Day 3 began again at 9:00 AM with unchanged participant numbers.

As always, the sessions began with pictures and clips by Johannes Leistner and Richy Rädler, edited and composed by Mattvey Klimenko from silberstern Filmproduktion and moderated by talk show host Bernhard Lingg. And then it was already time for the 4th and 5th sessions on the eight thematic strands and the netzvitamineAKADEMIE.

The range of topics covered everything from nudging concepts, accessibility, forest bathing, and nude hiking to a plea for the path to Net Zero 2030 and creative methods for various tasks.

Winner DSTNCMP Award²²

And then there was still the task of crowning the winner in the race for the DSTNCMP Award²². The vote of the DSTNCMP participants was clear: 41 percent chose the project "Alpsee-Grünten Mobil – the Ringbus" as number 1 among the six finalists via Mentimeter.

The Ringbus is a successful example of how sustainable mobility concepts can be established with perseverance, even at regional and local levels. The newly created bus line connects five towns and communities in the Alpsee-Grünten holiday region hourly and serves as an interface to other bus and train connections from the towns in the holiday region.

The project is financed by tourist taxes. Guests and second-home owners travel for free. For locals, there is an attractively priced resident ticket for 9.95 Euros per month. Spontaneous travelers and day-trippers can use the Ringbus line with a day ticket for 9 Euros.
